First Impression: L'Oréal True Match Lumi - Review

Finding a holy grail foundation can seriously be a full time job. There's different finishes, coverage level, colors... the list goes on!

Personally I have dry sensitive skin. With no tan I'm more cool tone but when I tan I'm more neutral. I prefer light to medium coverage. Knowing that this foundation had to be the perfect match for me... and it is!

It's medium coverage and gives you a flawless finish - it seriously looks like skin!
The range is really yellow so I bough C3 and it matches me perfectly. If you have really warm tone skin you will like that there's a lot of choices for you. If you have really pink skin you might find it hard.

It's a really liquidy foundation and you will need 3-4 pumps to do your face - I'm afraid to run out of this way to quickly. For a drugstore foundation it's pretty pricey.
I would compare it to my Nars Sheer Glow foundation (compare to this it's affordable!)
With a primer and a light powder it looks amazing all day!

Pro:
Flawless finish
Medium coverage
Stays all day if you have normal to dry skin

Cons:
The price considering it's drugstore
The quantity you need each time
Will get shiny if you have oily skin

Even though there's clearly some negative points, they have nothing to do with the finish and the foundation itself. It's officially a new HOLY GRAIL foundation for me!!

Hope you enjoy!

Self Tanner Reviews : St-tropez, St-Moriz, Bare Minerals and TanTowel

Hello everyone!

Today's post is all about self tanners! Us pale ladies can have a hard time finding the best products to look tan so as the guinea pig that I am - I tested a few!

Favorites: St-Tropez and Faux Tan by Bare Minerals

St-Tropez is a cult favorite for a good reason. It's just the all around easiest and most perfect self tanner I've tried! The color as a green base so no orange bodies, you'll never look streaky (yay mousse that doesn't dry it 2 seconds!) plus the scent is very faint! I will have to try the dark one just because I've been using two coats of this one during summer.

Faux Tan by Bare Minerals. Brown lotion that smells actually nice. Won't look streaky plus this one you can wear during the day! Will repurchase too!

Faux Tan Face : Best self tanner for your face EVER. I doubt I'll even try something else!

What are you favorites?

July Favorites!

Time for my July Favorites!
This month I've been more about simple and quick makeup plus I found a few new great products!

First I tried for the first time the L'Oréal Lumi foundation and... wow why did i wait this long to get this!? It's just the perfect coverage for me (light to medium) and gives you the perfect blowy skin!

Not on the picture but I also tried the LA Girl Pro Concealer and I think I found a holy grail under eyes concealer! Doesn't crease, medium to full coverage plus it's not drying! Highly recommend this if you can find it!

Lipsticks this month have been more natural - well if a light creamsicle orange like Mac Sweet & Sour lipstick can be natural! I've been loving wearing it as an everyday shade.
L'Oréal Fairest Nude is highly raved lipstick for a good reason. I love it during summer when I have a tan!

Covergirl Clump Crusher - Holy Moly! Might not add a lot of volume but it keeps my eye lashes curled all day! That never happens!

Lorac Unzipped Palette - This month this palette made me want to get their pro palettes. I especially love the highlight shade in this palette. It doesn't have any shimmer but it just glows!

Blushes - I'm a self proclaimed blush addict. Blushbaby is a new favorite because it's the perfect shade for anytime of the year as it is a mauvy nude shade. It's a sheer tone so I can go crazy with the application :D
Springsheen - A must for everyone. Sheertone shimmer - it's a better version of Nars Orgasm as it's not as red but still a corally shade with a gold sheen!

Last but not least I've been loving my Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow in 25 because it's waterproof. Not because it's been hot but because it's been rainy all the time. This product will give you perfect brow that won't budge all day! You can now swim with brow on ;)

What have you been loving this month?

All About Orange: Favorite Lipsticks, Blushes and Nail Polish! (+some Mac Dupes!)

Hello there!

This time it's all about orange! During the summer orange has to be one of my favorite shades to wear! To be honest it's also the only time I feel I can pull it off :P

Looking at this pile of goodies I just want to grab them and play!

In this video I let you know about a few Mac dupes too!

Mac lipstick in Sweet & Sour
Mac lipstick in Sushi Kiss

NYX soft matte lip cream in Buenos Aires (similar to Mac Sweet & Sour)
Wet n Wild lipstick in 24 Carrot Gold (similar to Mac Morange)

Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition
Tarte blush in Tipsy
Mac blush in Peaches
Mac blush in Springsheen
Nars blush in Luster
Revlon Nail Polish in Mad About Mango

Mac Sweet & Sour Lipstick
Such a fun orange to wear! Since it's a cream sheen it doesn't go on completely opaque which makes it more wearable. I could see myself wear this really often during the rest of the summer with a neutral eye!

Mac blush in Springsheen
I LOVE this blush! It's a sheer tone shimmer so you can use it without being scared of looking like a clown if you have fair skin. You can easily build it up to show on any skin tone! It's somewhat similar to Nars Orgasm but less red. It still has a corally orange color with a gold sheen!

What are you favorite orange products?
